百年先につなげるBrew Pub (ブルーパブ）
沖縄の玄関口「那覇空港」の国際線チェックインロビーの開放的な吹き抜けを望む4 階に「ヘリオス酒造」さまの新店舗として、世界でも稀に見るビール醸造所を併設した空港内飲食店をデザインしました。

デザインキーワード①「沖縄の海と空」
沖縄の海と空を象徴する色といえば、ブルーが挙げられます。
沖縄を囲む澄んだ広い海には、深い紺碧から美しいエメラルドブルーまで、様々な「青色」の表情があります。そして沖縄を包む空は、目の覚めるような鮮やかな青色をしており、夕暮れには海と太陽がおりなす夕焼け色を鮮明に浮かび上がらせます。
デザインキーワード②「近未来的な研究所」
そして、ヘリオス酒造の企業理念は「百年先につながる酒造り」。
そこに込められた酒造りへのこだわり（＝次世代につなげる研究）を、「近未来的な研究所」として表現しようと思いました。
この2 つのキーワードを組み合わせた表現にふさわしい素材として、金属素材であるチタンに着目しました。チタンを熱したときに浮かび上がる色味は、まるで「沖縄の海と空」の鮮やかな青と夕焼けのグラデーションのような色をしています。私たちは、近未来を意識した金属素材であるチタンに着想を得た色を「ヘリオスブルー」と呼ぶことにしました。
We designed a new restaurant for Helios Brewery on the 4th floor overlooking the open atrium of the international check-in lobby of Naha Airport, the gateway to Okinawa, as an airport restaurant with a beer brewery, which is rare in the world.
The keywords for this design were "the sea and sky of Okinawa" and "futuristic laboratory.
Blue is the color that symbolizes the sea and sky of Okinawa.
The clear, wide ocean that surrounds Okinawa has various expressions of "blue," from deep azure to beautiful emerald blue. The sky surrounding Okinawa is a brilliant blue, and at dusk, the sun and sea combine to create a vivid sunset color.
Helios Brewery's corporate philosophy is "sake brewing for the next 100 years.
We wanted to express our commitment to sake brewing (i.e., research that will lead to the next generation) as a "near-future research institute.
We focused on titanium, a metallic material, as a suitable material for expressing the combination of these two keywords. The colors that emerge when titanium is heated are like the vivid blue of the "Okinawan sea and sky" and the gradation of the sunset. We decided to call the color inspired by titanium, a metallic material with the near future in mind, "Helios Blue.
